Founded in the US in 2022 by Anna Veronika Dorogush and headquartered in London, Recraft builds an AI design platform and its own image foundation models for vector and raster generation aimed at brand and marketing work. Recraft V2 (March 2024) was its first model trained from scratch, at 20B parameters; V3 (October 2024) added positioned text rendering and SVG vector output; V4 (February 2026) and V4.1 (May 2026) are the current line. The company raised a $30M Series B led by Accel in May 2025.
