Kuaishou Technology, founded in Beijing in March 2011 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, runs the Kling AI video and image generation business alongside its short-video platform. Kling launched in June 2024 and has shipped 1.6 (December 2024), 2.0 (April 2025), 2.1 (May 2025), 2.5 Turbo (September 2025), the unified multimodal Kling O1 (1 December 2025), 2.6 with simultaneous audio-visual generation (3 December 2025) and the 3.0 series with multi-shot storyboards and multilingual speech (5 February 2026). The Kolors team's open text-to-image model (July 2024) underpins the Kolors Virtual Try-On endpoint; Kuaishou's KAT coding models are listed under KwaiPilot.
