Update 2026-08-19: the computer use tool is out of beta on the Claude API (and Google Cloud) as the computer_toolset_20260801 toolset, no beta header required; a new companion browser use tool also shipped out of beta the same day. Platforms other than the Claude API and Google Cloud (Bedrock, other Foundry surfaces) still only offer the earlier beta tool versions, so GA is not yet universal across every listed hosting surface.
